In today’s world it can be extremely beneficial if an organization can brag and boast about being a green organization. People want to do business with organizations who consume less energy and have less of an impact on the environment. The Canadian Standards Association Brings ISO 50001 Energy Management Standard to Canada

The Canadian Standards Association, or CSA, has announced the availability of the ISO 50001 energy management standard in Canada. The ISO 50001 is the first global energy management systems standard. The ISO 50001 standard has been put in place to assist organizations around the world in reducing energy consumption and energy costs to their organization.
Organizations that demonstrate compliance with the ISO 50001 energy management standard will have an energy management system in place, have completed an established baseline of energy use, and will have committed to continuous improvement of its energy performance.
