What is an API?

Also known as an Application Programming Interface, an API is an interface that a software program implements in order to allow other software to interact with it. API's are usually well defined and backward compatible so that the calling applications can maintain connectivity from release to release.

Through the use of an API PeopleCube's software can integrate with a wide range of systems.
