Resource Scheduler Software Requirements
Choose between an on-premise installation or take advantage of our hosted on-demand deployment option. Either way, you'll be happy to know that you can avoid typical problems associated with deploying an application to multiple PCs because Resource Scheduler is 100% browser based and can be easily and securely accessed by anyone you authorize – even your remote staff.
Resource Scheduler On-Premise Requirements
Resource Scheduler’s flexible setup means that you can configure your installation to meet your organization’s unique performance and usage requirements. Listed below are suggested system requirements for basic installations of our scheduler software. Please contact us for additional information on how to configure your system to meet your needs.
Server Requirements (for On-Premise Deployments Only)

- Microsoft Internet Information Server 6.0 or higher
- Microsoft Windows Scripting Edition 5.0 or higher (5.5 recommended)
- MS SQL Server 2005 (“Compatibility mode” not supported—please switch in advance of the installation process) or 2008
- SQL Client Connectivity TCP/IP (Not named pipes)
- Support for long file names
- .NET 3.5

- Adobe® Acrobat Reader (Free download for viewing RS reports published as PDFs)
- Microsoft Excel (recommended for viewing RS reports published in Excel format)

Hardware Recommendations
We recommend that client monitors have a resolution of 1024x768 pixels to accommodate the user interface elements. For a hardware configuration that addresses your organization’s particular requirements,please contact PeopleCube’s Professional Services team.
Reporting Software
Resource Scheduler, the following applications are recommended:
- Crystal Reports Runtime (Free download)
- Crystal Reports Viewer (For publishing reports in the Crystal Reports Viewer—must install it on the server with Resource Scheduler. The Viewer is provided with Resource Scheduler.)
