The idea is simple - don't use energy for areas that aren't being utilized.  For example, rather than maintaining the temperature of a conference room at 72 degrees throughout the entire day regardless of whether the space is used or not, our Energy Management solutions automatically sends the room reservation data to the BMS to manage the climate of the room.  As a result, the room can be kept at 60 degrees when the room is not in use.  Then, just prior to when the room is scheduled to be in use, the system automatically triggers the BMS to raise the temperature up to a comfortable 72 degrees.  Once the meeting has concluded, the BMS brings the temperature back down to more energy-efficient levels
